In the Helmond Badminton Association competition, one team is designated as the “home” team and the other as the “away” team for each match. You can check which teams are home or away on the association’s website.
For every match:
- Both teams must bring a score board (telmap).
- The home team is responsible for providing shuttles, a score sheet, and a pen.
The purpose of the competition bag is to ensure that every Sunday there is enough material available for all youth teams of Badminton Club Nuenen, regardless of whether they play as home or away.
Contents of the Competition Bag
- Shuttles: enough for all 4 teams
- Score boards: 4
- Score Sheets and pens
Procedure
1. Preparation on Friday evening (training night)
- Check which teams will play at home on Sunday (morning and/or afternoon).
- Agree on which team will take the bag.
- Preferably choose a team that plays in the morning.
- If only afternoon teams play at home, choose one of them.
- Check together that the bag is complete and packed neatly.
2. On Sunday (match day)
- The designated team brings the bag to the hall.
- Other home teams take the necessary items from the bag.
- If both morning and afternoon teams play:
- Make sure the bag is handed over to an afternoon team after the morning matches.
3. After the matches
- The team that took the bag ensures all items are packed neatly again.
- Return the bag on Friday evening after the match day (training night).
- Check that everything is complete for the next match day.
Important Points
- Always agree on Friday evening who will take the bag.
- Responsibility lies with the team that takes the bag.
- Consider morning/afternoon sessions for handover.
- Report immediately if items are missing or damaged.
